To do this, create a closed group; monitor the discussion to wipe out spam, or other types of posts that aren’t contributing positively & safely to the group experience.


We can change our group setting from open open to closed or secret, or closed to secret, to protect the privacy of your members.

Facebook group can be open, close and secret. An open group is public and everyone can join and see all publications immediately and start participating. A secret group will not appear in the search and the only way for someone to join is to be personally invited by another member of the group. And in closed group, you can be discovered through Facebook search, but group administrators must approve membership applications.

If you have 5000 members in your group, then you can do open to closed or secret, or closed to secret, to protect the privacy of your members. Closed or secret group open to the public wouldn’t be fair to your group members.

For making potential visitors for your group, you can ask question from them before permit them to join the group like why they are want to join the group? Etc.

For setting up the question for people, you can go to your privacy setting-> find Membership Requests->click Ask Questions and add questions to the moderation process.

You have many rights for your group as an administrator like you can remove the people if they are not following the group guidelines. If you see an unnecessary or spam post in your group, you can remove.


2: Recognize New Members on a Consistent Basis:


You are the pillar of your group. When you add new member in your group, leave a message for him like “Welcome to Our Group”. Send a private message to him about your group introduction.

When you add new member in your group, you can see message box on right hand. Write the post there and Facebook will pre-populate a new post for you with all of the new members tagged.

Always pinned your important post in group like such as your introduction, rules and guidelines, or posts you don’t want new members to miss.

To pin a post that’s been published, click the three dots icon in the upper-right corner of the post and select Pin Post.

3: Varied Engagement Opportunities:


As a group admin, your role is to encourage people, respond people share questions and answer in group.

You have to do some activities for your group members through this they become engage with their group, like create some challenges , creative activities etc on time to time.

You should interact with group members through Live Video and give a trust and genuinely interaction with group.

4: Highlight Individual Members: 


Facebook Group is for everyone, it is a community, not make it for you or about your business. Give the chance to others to discuss their queries or problem and solve them with the help of other’s suggestion. Obviously, you have the authority on the topic, your members are discussing, but you should give the chance them to interact and participate in conversations.

You should tag your community members in the topic that you think, they’d be interested in. leaving the time and space for others to contribute, here are a few things you can do to shine the spotlight on group members.
